Four charged with theft from pool at Robin Meadows

Police said four youths trespassed at Robin Meadows Community Pool south of Frederick, climbed the fence, and stole a lawn chair after ransacking pool furniture. Board admits error in church site near Lewistown

The Frederick County Board of Appeals ruled an administrative error occurred in approving a church location for the North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses at Utica Mills Farmettes. Neighbors cited traffic and storm water issues while the church contends no for profit activities would take place. The board's 2 to 1 vote acknowledged the planning commission had overstepped by adding a use on the site plan.

Frederick man charged with theft of dirt bike

Timothy Hughes aged 19 of Dover Circle was arrested on a theft and breaking and entering charge after deputies located a Honda off road motorcycle reported stolen July 23. Deputy Ratliff recovered the bike at Hughes residence around 6 30 a m Tuesday after information from the owner.
