Demolition Of Seneca Cabins Starts Today
Government crews began tearing down six Seneca cabins after a three year fight with Interior officials. Julien Delphey and other area owners including Clinton Hamilton Harry Stup Charles Troxell Ray Grimes Donald Grimes Joseph Gosnell and William Rimbey had been ordered to vacate to convert the area into a public picnic site. The eviction ends years of legal action from Bethesda to Baltimore.

The Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company of Maryland approved spending 632000 to enlarge a dial switching center in Frederick East Patrick Street. Barricades to Go Up If Rain Fails to Arrive
The Fishing Creek watershed covering 22 square miles will be closed to the public by this weekend unless rain relieves tinder dry conditions. Mayor John A.
