Emmitsburg growth line to state border contested
Frederick County Commissioners voted to extend Emmitsburg growth area north to the Pennsylvania border despite a planning commission recommendation to stop just short of the Mason-Dixon Line. The move ties into the Thurmont Region Plan and 20 year land use proposals while not altering existing zoning.
