Walkersville man to stand trial in alleged rape case
Dana Harrison, 28, of Walkersville faces trial on charges of raping a 15 year old while she was at his home on January 17. The incident was reported by the girl to her parents in May, and a warrant was issued May 23. Harrison married the next week to a longtime acquaintance. The sitter said the act followed her intoxication from two and a half glasses of Coke with Wild Turkey. The defense claimed only the girl's testimony supported the case, but the judge found probable cause for trial.
