Clinton ready to sign for 16.3B in budget cuts

Painter's helper charged with murders of five

A 20 year old painter's helper, Braman Alvarez of Wheaton, was arrested and charged with five counts of first degree murder in the mass slaying at a Montgomery County home. Victims include Dr David Goff 46 his three daughters Andrea Robyn 22 Sheri Helene 19 and Alyse Renee 14 and painter Mark Aldridge 30 of Wheaton. Chief Mehrling called the case one of the county's most heinous crimes. Autopsies pending. Alvarez held at county detention center for weekend bond hearing Monday.

Ten Cullen inmates complete carpentry training graduates
