Frederick Brewing expands China trade and new Knight’s Ale deal
Frederick Brewing Co announces shipment of 3,000 cases to China and plans to brew a proprietary Knight’s Ale for a client for shipment to northern China. Corn and soybean futures dive on Midwest weather outlook
Corn and soy futures slipped as weather forecasts pointed to warmer temperatures and more moisture across the Midwest. Wheat for September rose 2 cents to 2.75 a bushel, with September corn down 3 cents to 2.32, September oats off 2. cents to 1.19, and August soybeans down 16. cents to 6.25 a bushel. Livestock futures also fell, August live cattle down 0.01 to 6.65 per pound, August feeder cattle at 69.22, August hogs down 2 to 49.97, and August pork bellies at 52.60 a pound.
