Remsburg Reappointed to Frederick School Board and Trustees

Mrs Helen R Remsburg of Jefferson is reappointed by Gov Marvin Mandel to the Frederick County Board of Education for five years through July 1 1981. Consumer prices rise as energy costs drive June inflation

Tragic Basement Accident Kills Fredericks County Child

A three year old girl identified as Jennifer Lee Bean died in a basement accident at her Boss Arnold Road home around 11 20 am A folding ping pong table fell onto her while she played next to a freezer She was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr Wayne Allgate of Brunswick State Police reported Jennifer and a neighbor girl Shar Green four were playing outside and entered the basement Their mother Virs Bean was in the house at the time The Brunswick ambulance responded but she was dead upon arrival at Frederick Memorial Hospital The investigation was handled by State Police officers Willard Masirino and James Ro Rem with Feete Funeral Home to transport the body to the morgue
