Falsecarding in bridge ends in mixed signals and misplays
The article discusses falsecarding as a delicate bridge tactic where players bluff with high cards to mislead opponents. It analyzes a hand where West’s opening king of clubs against South’s four spades leads to a false card that depends on East’s correct play, highlighting how misread signals can reveal partner or opponent intentions. It also lists a puzzle-like word/number sequence and a down clue section interleaved with the bridge discussion.
