Haughs Shop Road Issue in Frederick County Meeting

In a regular monthly session the Frederick County Roads Board pressed Engineer Roger H Willard to seek an SRC ruling on the Haughs Blacksmith Shop road between current and new U S 40. The link was blocked by the contractor. A four foot ditch cut the county road off to traffic. The County Commissioners urged SRC to keep the road open for Ijamsville residents who signed a petition. The Roads Board withholds action pending SRC report, suspecting construction work closed the road without SRC approval. Willard also reported progress on multiple county roads with grading, stone placement, and upcoming work.
