Frederick Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash Near New Midway
Frederick resident Thomas Wayne Pruitt, 30, was critically injured Saturday night when his Harley-Davidson left Good Intent Road near Claybaugh Road, hit a utility pole and a post, then was flown by state police helicopter to MIEMSS in Baltimore. The accident occurred at about 9:40 p.m., and Pruitt remained in very critical condition Monday morning. Maryland Lottery results for Saturday night were also reported in the dispatch.

Man hit by pellet shot while riding in car
A 19 year old passenger Claude W. Phillips of Purcellville Virginia was struck by three shotgun pellets on Ballenger Creek Road near Point of Rocks while traveling with his father and a friend. He received treatment at Frederick Memorial Hospital and was released. Detectives pursue leads with no arrests made.
