In Princess Anne Maryland two wives of Crisfield city officials died when their car burst into flames after a tractor trailer rear ended it. Fern G. Tyler 51 wife of city manager Julian Carlos Tyler and Mildred Tyler 46 wife of councilman Curtis Larry Tyler died at the scene. The truck driver faced multiple motor-vehicle violations. The couple had been leaving a meeting of the Lower Eastern Shore Mayors Association in Ocean City.
