School board to discuss 75 million for five year growth plan
The Frederick County Board of Education will meet with the Superintendent's Advisory Committee on School Construction at 80 tonight in the board room at 115 E Church St. The advisory report recommends almost 3 construction projects totaling 75 million over five years to handle a growth of over 5,000 pupils and overcrowding by 1984. Also on the agenda are personnel appointments, new principals for Middletown and Walkersville High, curriculum director, budget amendments, and tax sheltered annuity renewal. Radio Shack June 1978 sales rose 69.3 million, with parent Tandy reporting 8.469 million in June.
