Richard Leichert reviews The Landlord starring Beau Bridges and others, praising Hal Ashby's handling of race and class with humor and danger. The piece contrasts Elgar Anders white privilege with black urban life, noting strong performances and provocative social bite. The second column urges Rose Hill historic restoration through a Governor Thomas Johnson Friends Association.
