Residents seek extension of Good Road toward Bloomfield
A Bloomfield area delegation asked the County Commissioners on Saturday to extend the O possum town pike by one and a quarter miles. The plan aims to connect Frederick with Lewistown Thurmont Emmitsburg and the county north, eliminating two railroad crossings and a sharp curve at Worman's Mill.
