Senate rejects Oliver amendment to strike armor plant
Washington July 10. By a 51 to 17 vote the Senate rejected Senator Oliver’s bid to strike the 11 million dollar government armor plate plant from the naval bill. Taggart Indiana was the lone Democrat to back the motion. A further attempt to refer the armor plant issue to the Federal Trade Commission failed 49 to 16 with Newlands Nevada the sole Democrat supporter. An amendment would bar use of a U S warship in Latin American waters from collecting money owed to a private individual. Leaders seek passage and conference on the bill amid a stubborn dispute.

He recommends a fixed bedtime from six o clock for babies to eight for nine year olds and notes adults can also suffer from irregular sleep patterns though exceptions exist.
