T-bills fall to three-week lows in Monday auctions
Washington AP The Treasury sold 12.4 billion in three month bills at an average discount rate of 4.31 percent, down from 4.50 percent last week. Another 12.4 billion in six month bills averaged 4.71 percent, down from 4.94 percent. The three month rate was the lowest since 4.20 percent on June 27 and the six month rate the lowest since 4.60 percent that day.
