Boonsboro couple hurt in U S 40 accident

A six person crash on Alternate U S 40 near Braddock Heights injured six, with two hospitalized. Dwayne Bowers 16 and two passengers were treated at FMH. June Vance 45 and Leon Vance were hospitalized, Mrs Vance listed in good condition. Christine Mayo 23 treated and released.

Retailers hit by shoplifters at Francis Scott Key Mall

Three Francis Scott Key Mall stores were victimized Sunday as shoplifters stole about 9,293 in diamond rings from S&N Katz jewelry and clothing from two apparel shops. Maryland State Police say two men and a woman entered the jewelry store, distractingly prompting the theft of a Sinch ring holder while a clerk assisted another customer.
