Mt Airy man gets year for marijuana use

George Doeezy of Mount Airy was sentenced in Frederick County Circuit Court to one year in the Adult Detention Center for marijuana use related to a residence frequented by known drug users. The judge warned of risk to public safety. the defendant, an Eagle Scout, faced probation discussion though his record was clean. Local man faces prison over PCP possession and abuse rehab plea

Curtis Treat Hart, 21, of Pinoak Drive Frederick, admitted lingering drug urges after rehab at the Baltimore Addiction Treatment Center. He pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute PCP and driving under the influence, facing up to two years and a $20,000 fine. The state seeks a lengthy sentence with much suspended if he completes Second Genesis program. Police found PCP and a marijuana pipe during the arrest. Hart's vehicle was seized for use in transporting PCP.
