Frederick County AgriFuture Roundtable forms aims and goals
The Frederick County AgriFuture Roundtable met to report on committee work and future action. Richard Ramsburg was elected chairman with Timothy Blaser as vice chair, and committees discussed land use planning, agricultural education, regulatory review, and funding to support agriculture and land preservation efforts in Frederick County. Jill Schwartz of American Farmland Trust noted ongoing Cost of Community Services studies in the county.
