Gregory Keller, long time alt FUPS employee since 1995, is named to a school leadership role. He previously taught social studies in Ballen Creek Middle and Walkers High and holds a University of Maryland bachelor’s and Hood College master’s in educational leadership. Jacqueline Piplan, ex Baltimore County central coordinator of special education, has a bachelor’s in elementary education from Jersey City State and a master’s in special education from Duke University.

ATV accident kills Maryland boy near Lead Mine
A five year old Maryland boy died when an all terrain vehicle rolled backward and overturned on Lead Mine Road near Lead Mine in Tucker County. The grandmother had placed the vehicle in reverse to turn around when it flipped. The family hails from Oaksend. The grandmother and another child were treated and released at Keazett Mieanorsa Hospital. No fatalities were released Friday. A separate ATV incident in June killed three people in Harrison County.
