County won't forgive Braddock bills

Frederick County Commissioners refused to forgive any portion of former Braddock Water customers' bills even if the county obtains authority to bill. The panel also discussed prorating March to April boil water alert charges, moving 750000 toward overlay projects, and plans for 53 miles of road work costing 21 million in fiscal year 1996.

Clinton attends private fundraiser in Sandy Springs

Base Closings Threaten California and Texas Jobs

The White House urged base closures due to excess capacity with McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento and Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio slated for loss.
