The camp will serve crippled children from across Maryland with a ten week program including swimming, dining, and daily recreation. The Salvation Army and the Maryland League for Crippled Children will use other camps on site with two week stays for some youths. Crew comes from county relief rolls and construction proceeds under Interior Department jurisdiction, with completion hoped within a year. A 4‑H Girls Club picnic to Braddock Heights followed.
