Real estate outlook bright despite credit signs
The National Association of Realtors reports among Realtors nationwide that existing single family homes show growing demand this spring with solid sales expected for the year. Western regions show cooling signs while new home demand remains strong and inventories rise modestly in many areas. Rental markets loosen slightly as multifamily starts grow, costs rise for ownership and operation, and yields trend lower. Richard B. Hohman of the Red Barn System has joined Servomation as vice president, bringing his operations experience from McDonald's and the Marine Corps, with family based in Vienna, Virginia.
