Deductions by Scientists at Rotary Club Meeting
Bishop Robert E. Strider spoke at the Wheeling Rotary Club on astronomy as a hobby and church vocation. He described ancient sky observations, fixed and wandering stars, and how modern study yields size, distance, and surface conditions. He noted helium discovery from solar spectra and pondered light from distant stars traveling for millennia.
