Bridge Rebuild Began After Tuesday Collapse In Local Road
Tuesday afternoon a bridge near Frederick Pike collapsed trapping a five ton stone truck. Commissioner Joma A Jones ordered repairs by Moclevue Host crew starting mid Wednesday, with traffic reopening at 9 am. Driver Edgar Barbaugh, from Sablasville, escaped without serious injury as the vehicle slid into the ditch. Local county officials oversaw the operation and noted the truck belonged to Rascoe P Brown. The incident prompted repairs and rerouting while the bridge was rebuilt.
