Summer Constellations in Best Observing Positions
The article notes summer constellations moving into prime viewing positions with Scorpio and Sagittarius in the south, Virgo and Libra with bright planets, and Neptune too near the Sun for viewing. It highlights Venus and Mercury as morning stars, Mars fading in evenings, Saturn in Virgo near quadrature, and Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, and Draco high in the sky. It calls 1923 the prime year for amateur stargazing as Milky Way clouds and nebulae outline a grand celestial panorama.
