Baltimore Barbers Keep Old Style At Basic $6 Cut
In north Baltimore a two-chair shop run by Wayne and Garry Oster outlasts chrome trends. They offer basic $6 cuts with no styling, plus casual talk on weather, Orioles, gardening, and cars. The brothers, 53 and 44, have 60 years combined experience and serve ages from six months to 103. Weekends are busiest with 60 to 75 heads cut, as kids play and wait their turn.
