Murder Charge Placed Against Brunswick Man
A Brunswick man Jack Thomas Howard 26 is charged with first degree murder in the death of Willie Lee Frye 37 of Lovettsville Va whose body was found in the Potomac River. Frye was beaten and thrown from the Point of Rocks Bridge July 1 according to police. Frye’s body was found July 4 by Frederick fishermen and autopsy showed multiple rib fractures. Howard is jailed in Frederick County with a 5000 bond awaiting extradition to Loudoun County Va. He was previously convicted June 29 in a separate larceny case with a suspended sentence.
