Death at Flying Field Ends Noted Army Air Service Pilot’s Flight
Patrick Logan, famed U. S. Army Air Service pilot, died when his plane crashed during a warm up for a major air tournament at Dole Flying Field near Talti jore. He had visited Frederick previously and was stationed at Bolling Field Washington. Logan’s body was sent to Howell Michigan after a Wednesday funeral.

Licksville to Mount of Rocks Lateral Road Petition Planned
A petition signed by city and bank presidents and local business leaders will be presented to county commissioners on Monday seeking a four mile lateral road from Licksville north of town west to Washington Junction and then to the Tomahac River bridge at Point of Rocks linking to Virginia roads.
