Thurmont defeated McSherrystown 7 to 4 as veteran Frank Shuff limited Alc Sterrystown to eight hits. Keffer pitched early to seal the win for Thurmont in a Sunday game in Adams County. Shuff earned the win and Shime and Keeney contributed on base for Thurmont while McSherrystown left fielder Little and Keeney were among the standout batters.
