Cigarettes Looted From Winebrewer Warehouse at Charles Town
Thieves broke into the DR. C. Winebrewer and Son warehouse on the Baltimore and Ohio Valley branch at Charles Town West Virginia over the weekend and stole several cases of cigarettes valued about 1200 dollars. Entry was gained by breaking a wall and lock then removing a concrete block to access the basement and main warehouse. The theft was discovered Tuesday with investigators noting heavy chisel marks and a long breach time likely spanning Monday night July Fourth. Local officials and the Winebrewer company are investigating while no official word has reached Fredericktown from the Charles Town branch.
