Sta Cases Tried In Police Court Session
Police court session near July opened with 3 minors and one auto charge. Justice Emmert K Bowlus gave guilty verdicts and fines, two defendants ordered out of the city, an auto case held under advisement till Friday, and a non support charge seized and dismissed. Milton Raun of near this city faced reckless auto operation against Montgomery Sproull of Baltimore. Raun and his wife testified conflicting views of the collision. Clayton Racy of near Frederick found guilty of reckless driving. fined $1 plus $2 costs. John H. Lakin of near Worman's Mill found guilty of operating a truck in reckless manner. fined $1 plus $2. Rudolph Lyles, colored, ordered to pay Marcus Aubrey Onley $1 weekly. accepted as voluntary support. John Ferguson of Baltimore, age 75, was arrested Tuesday.

The Taylorsville Sun shine class met at Mrs. Fred Magin’s home with President Mrs. Ho race Hipsley presiding. Frances Franklin read scripture and Frances Franklin also sang He Lifteth Me. prayers by Mrs. Robert Bartlett. Pauline Siers was elected treasurer and Mary Byers corresponding secretary. Next meeting at Mrs Horace Hipsley’s home. Evening included hostess planned games and refreshments for members and guests. Two men, Frank Dorsey and Patrick Down, were ordered to leave the city after drunken offenses.

U S Insured Home Construction Gains
President Roosevelt heard cheery business news as he prepared for a transcontinental tour. Federal Housing Administrator Stewart McDonald reported insured home construction this year would total about 3.0 billion dollars, more than doubling last year’s figure. The day included calls on spending programs, a wage hour administrator appointment, and plans for his Marietta Ohio address before heading to Kentucky.

A youth named Junior Schitting, seven years old, reportedly jumped with neighbor children into a large cat bin. He later woke, reportedly after leaping from a second story window to the ground, but remained unharmed. His mother woke to the commotion as he re-entered the house.
