Five Injured In Old Annapolis Road Accident
Five persons from Frederick were injured when William Kimmel 32 failed to slow for a pickup truck driven by Albert Runkles 48 on Old Annapolis Road east of Linganore High School. Cheryl Kimmel 10 and Debbie Garver 7 were admitted. Donna Reynolds 11 and Carolyn Garver 9 were treated and released. Kimmel received scalp and hand lacerations. The pickup was westbound. Kimmel blamed bright sun for not seeing it. Police charged Kimmel with failure to reduce speed.
