Nine Scouts from Frederick Troop 260 sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints completed six days of canoeing in Vilas County Wisconsin Northland. Jeff Skinner led as voyageur with Mark Brooks and Jody Ladd as ecologists.

Honor graduates King and Nicodeame enter Phi Beta Kappa
Seven E King and Johan C Nicodeame earned cum laude honors in May 1978 at Duke with Phi Beta Kappa election. King earned a physics degree with honors and will pursue graduate studies in physics at Duke. Nicodeame earned a BA in management sciences and accounting and will join Ricca Nelo & Gaatt in Durham. Both had A averages and ranked high in their class as Duke students. Troop 280 returned home for the 4th of July weekend.
