Mother Of Dead Baby Identified In Yellow Springs Case
State Police identified the mother of a newborn found dead last Wednesday in a cardboard box near Yellow Springs as Mary E. Jackson, 20, of East Seventh Street. Investigators traced the identification after questioning Jackson and reviewing leads. The three to six day old infant weighed about five pounds and was found by Frank Foland at the Yellow Springs Park. No blood stains were found on the infant or clothing. Autopsy results pending before charges are considered.

He was found guilty on eight of nine motor vehicle charges and sentenced to five days in jail plus fines totaling 188 dollars.
