Authorities identified the mother of the infant found in a cardboard box near Yellow Springs but will wait for autopsy results to decide on charges. The 20-year-old Frederick girl, unmarried, is a suspect under review by City and State Police.

James A. Grove, Frederick County blood program chairman, said the first bloodmobile visit of the new fiscal year will be Monday at Evangelical Lutheran Church. The county quota rises to 2,048 pints, up 276 from last year, with visits increased to 20.
