Descendants of Signers history inspires Rev. Pyne
The Rev. Frederick W. Pyne of St. Andrew's Episcopal Chapel is a seventh generation descendant of signer William Flood and a longtime member of the Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, which seeks to preserve the principles of the signers. He works on a multi volume genealogy project detailing all 56 signers by state, promotes public awareness, and notes the group offers a four year college scholarship to descendants meeting eligibility. He invites inquiries to Registrar General Mrs. Frederick E Leadbetter in Chestertown Maryland.
