A new Community Living Foundation Inc. will grant funds to programs or individuals aiding people with developmental disabilities in Frederick County. Initial gifts exceed 200000 dollars, toward a 350000 dollar first year goal. Endowment funds will fund medical, educational, and recreational needs, housing, equipment, interpreters, and training to help disabled residents stay in their homes. Grant guidelines requests and proposals are due by October 1, 1997, with contact details provided. Also noted are two Dean’s List recognitions at Frostburg State University and Montserrat College of Art.
