Rockville plans to annex 441 acre King Farm and 45 acres of rights of way to support 3200 homes 1.2 million square feet of offices 100000 square feet of retail and 1600 multi family units plus schools libraries and fire stations. Unsecured load sparks four‑car crash in Frederick
Adamstown man Elwood Christopher Hokanson was charged with transporting an unsecured load after a sink a roll of carpet and a mattress fell from his pickup on U.S. 15 near the Rosemont Avenue interchange. The debris caused a four‑car pileup. all drivers sustained only minor injuries per Frederick County Central Alarm.

Montgomery County Receives $8.3 Million Housing Grants
Montgomery County has been awarded 8.3 million dollars in federal housing grants from the U S Department of Housing and Urban Development. County Executive Douglas M Duncan calls it the largest housing and community development funding in nearly two decades and says the funds will stabilize and expand housing supply through land acquisition and rehabilitation. Grants will also finance more group homes for special populations and shelter programs.
