Rotary Club Installations and Honors in Frederick 1947
The Frederick News reports a Rotary Club meeting noting a death, a moment of silence for Casper E. Cline, and the first use of a new gavel gifted to the club. Officers and directors are named along with committee chairs and last year’s accomplishments. A speech lauds the new administration and Rotary devotion. The second half covers a program on African plains animals and a note that it is illegal to hunt from a car.
