Debt totals show slight drop from year end
Washington reports the public debt at June 30, 1902, stood at 969,450,241 with total debt 1,328,031,356 including interest bearing and non interest bearing portions. Cash on hand rose, offsetting declines in other areas. Other items note Mrs Stone’s support for striking workers, United States Steel earnings, Martique activity, Rhodes memorials, Gettysburg encampment plans, and cholera cases in Manila.
