Frederick man listed in critical condition after a three vehicle wreck on US 15 near Point of Korky Teonard Real. The driver crossed the center line twice, hitting a southbound van driven by Ronald L Webb Sr of Greencastle Pennsylvania and then a truck driven by Michael P Magdie of Mavertown. Magdie treated and released at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

A Mount Airy man is held without bail in Washington County after a shooting spree on Sumans Avenue left two people critically injured. Jeff Ro Bastine, 19, faces two counts of assault with intent to murder, reckless endangerment and weapons charges as police investigate a crowded residential scene. Fred Gardin III, 23, was shot in the right shoulder and others wounded including Hunter Wywiyler, 24, who was struck in the head while holding a baby. the infant was unharmed. Local hospitalizations continued Tuesday night as the investigation proceeds.
