Referendum On Three Acts In Annapolis June 30
Three acts passed by the IST Legislature and signed by Governor Lanes face referendum at next year’s election. Two concern Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties, one allows voting machines and the other lets unity commissioners borrow for them. The third would create a county manager government in Anne Arundel. Signatures for Allegany and Anne Arundel referenda were filed with the Secretary of State, well above required totals.
