County works release center plan faces cost clash
Delegation backs a county work release center but questions price. State officials noted possible construction under 50 dollars per square foot, suggesting a 8 000 square foot facility around 500 000 dollars while county leaders push for a 400 000 to 600 000 dollar range. Delays and funding hurdles remain as Emory C Harrison warned no capital budget approval this year with next year offering another look.
