Bloodmobile nets 119 units at State Farm in snow
Despite snow, the Red Cross Bloodmobile at State Farm Insurance on Wednesday Jan 18 collected 119 units from 124 donors. Four new donors and nine walk-ins aided the effort while 12 State Farm employees and three outsiders braved the weather. James A. Grove praised local volunteers and noted early registration closed at 2 p.m. in Frederick County.

CPR Classes Offered in Westminster and Charles Carroll ES
The Carroll County Red Cross will run CPR training at Westminster High School on February 11 and at Charles Carroll Elementary School on February 18 from 8 30 a m to 5 p m preregistration and $7 50 per person required. Series studies heart disease in February at Loudoun Memorial

Twenty Fort Ritchie personnel completed a pilot 32 hour sign language program in December. Feedback showed three hours per session was optimal. planners will offer retooled refresher courses. Interested staff should have supervisors submit disposition forms to the training officer.
