Frederick County airport park aims at high tech growth

Millennium Development Group plans Riverside Corporate Park around the Clustered Spires Golf Course near Gas House Pike and Monocacy Boulevard. The 4 million square foot mix of office and light industrial space seeks airport proximity, with tree removal along the Monocacy River for flight safety. The city conceptually approved the project, with completion in eight to ten years and expected job creation and tax base. The airport commission also approved new one year pilots leases, keeping current hangar rents, while expanding 72 new large hangars at $325 monthly to fund construction over 25 years.
