Frederick Community College will hold registration for the second semester at the college office in Frederick High School. Duval W. Sneadner, president, said several courses not offered in the first semester will be available. Final exams for the first semester concluded Friday and classes start Thursday. Astronomy Course Offered by Frederick County Education
The Frederick County Board of Education will offer a twelve week adult education astronomy course at night at the South Frederick School. Mrs. Emory Nusz of near this city was elected as an elder in the Evangelical Reformed Church consistory at the annual congregational meeting. Teenager Injured In Union Bridge Car Crash
Larry L Butler a 19 year old from Union Bridge was treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a 12 50 a m crash on Md 26 just west of Unionville. Butler's 1955 Chevrolet left the road struck a mailbox a cement block and an embankment and spun. He was charged with driving at speed too great for conditions. Officer Jack L Forsythe investigated.

Rescue workers searched for more victims after a tornado swept Harpersville Alabama killing at least nine and injuring five.
