Hoover Commission findings show vast government waste
The bipartisan Hoover Commission will issue reports revealing wasteful federal practices. Findings include 800000 pounds of tomato products moved coast to coast and 700000 pounds the reverse, over 1500 competitive activities with private industry, flood projects costing more than the land, and a billion dollars spent annually on questionnaires. The report argues continued work and congressional consideration to reform procedures.
