A broad pressure belt extends from New England to the Ohio Valley and Gulf of Mexico with a storm area moving from Manitoba into Northern Minnesota. Snow and rain occur in parts of New England, Middle Atlantic, and the South Atlantic, with varying cloudiness elsewhere. Temperature shifts include cooling in Tennessee and the Ohio Valley, with warming in the Upper Mississippi, Missouri Valley, and the Rocky Mountain slopes. Overall, fair to partly cloudy in the East and Southwest, with rain or snow possible in the Middle West and Mid-Atlantic regions. Winds circulate clockwise around highs and counterclockwise around lows, bringing warm moist air from the south to the southeast and east of lows.
