City Moves to Issue Bonds for Catoctin Reservoir
Fifty years ago the mayor and aldermen adopted a plan to seek legislation authorizing bonds to fund a storage reservoir in the Catoctin mountains to augment Frederick Maryland's water system. A Board of Trade committee presented the proposal as engineer William H. Boardman endorsed the plan during the discussion.
